Fatal error with Database connection
-
Hi there,
This morning I noticed the following error when visiting my site as well as when attempting to log in:Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
Fatal error: Uncaught wfWAFStorageFileException: Unable to save temporary file for atomic writing. in /srv/users/rootedstorytelling/apps/rootedstorytelling/public/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/storage/file.php:35 Stack trace: #0 /srv/users/rootedstorytelling/apps/rootedstorytelling/public/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/storage/file.php(659): wfWAFStorageFile::atomicFilePutContents(‘/srv/users/root…’, ‘<?php exit(‘Acc…’) #1 [internal function]: wfWAFStorageFile->saveConfig(‘livewaf’) #2 {main} thrown in /srv/users/rootedstorytelling/apps/rootedstorytelling/public/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/storage/file.php on line 35
I am unable to log in and update the Wordfence plugin to see if that’s the issue. I checked the amount of disc space available on DigitalOcean and there is plenty. We also utilize ServerPilot. I’m not well-versed in using FTP clients, and probably need more direct support, but does anyone have any advice for where to start?
