faux columns Highwind theme

Is that better now? I dont have access to a screen wider than 2000px so I can’t tell. But I do notice that doing this means that when you shrink the screen beyond a certain size there is a funny effect where there are two light grey columns with a white strip in the middle?

Perhaps it is better not to include this code?

My friend came up with the solution for the footer/faux-colum sidebar problem. We’ve changed the footer color/opacity so that they blend together.

Hi, on my 27″ Apple display (2560px wide) everything looks good to me. No white showing to the right of the sidebar and the grey area in the sidebar extends clear down to the footer area and blends in seamlessly.

Ha, most people probably don’t — and even if they do they probably don’t view websites at full display width! :)

    Is that better now?

Here’s how it looks to me now if I expand to full screen (2560 x 1440) on my display: https://cloudup.com/cT1brloWxSg

I tested the Highwind demo, and I see what you’re talking about but only at browser widths between 769px and 1009px. I’ve reported the issue to the theme developers to see if that’s something that can be addressed with an update to the theme itself or not.
