Favicon and Advertisement question…

  1) Which files do I open to inset my favicon.ico info into?

  and

  2) How do I change the category name “advertisement” and place my own HTML in that column?

  By the looks of things, you need to be posting over at http://wordpress.org/support/ because your blog is self-hosted. The two stickies at the top of this forum explain the difference.
