favicon doesnt match my blavatar?
-
When I go on my blog (http://matg.info) the favicon that is shown is the first one I uploaded, it was only meant to be temporary. I am not seeing the new blavatar I just uplodaded.
If I navigate to: http://matg.info/favicon.ico
It redirects to : http://1.gravatar.com/blavatar/fcbf31d80d3cd24423a189c1275e86db?s=16It shows a white image with a right mark on the left and the letter A on the right, which is the wrong one.
But, in the HTML file generated by WordPress, the <link> icon tag points to the correct one, which is a dark image with the letter “mg” in blue.
<link rel=”icon” type=”image/x-icon” href=”http://1.gravatar.com/blavatar/fcbf31d80d3cd24423a189c1275e86db?s=16″ sizes=”16×16″ />
Apparently firefox and IE seem to favor favicon.ico, so I am seeing the wrong thing.
Is there a way to fix the favicon.ico? I thought uploading a new blavatar would replace it, but it doesnt seem to be the case.
