Favicon is not display in google feed
-
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to report a critical issue I am facing with my WordPress website. Despite making updates to my site image, title, and tagline within the WordPress dashboard, the changes are not reflecting in Google’s search results or feed.
Here are the specific changes I made:
Site Image: I updated the site image via the “Appearance” -> “Customize” -> “Site Identity” section and uploaded a new image for my website.
Title and Tagline: I modified the site title and tagline through the “Settings” -> “General” section and ensured that the changes were saved.I have followed all the recommended procedures to implement these changes, and they appear correctly within the WordPress dashboard. However, when I search for my website on Google or view it in Google’s feed, the old information is still displayed.
I have also taken the following troubleshooting steps:
Cleared my browser cache to ensure that I am viewing the most recent version of the website.
Checked for caching issues within WordPress and cleared the cache.
Verified that there are no conflicting settings in my theme’s customization options.
Disabled all plugins temporarily to rule out any conflicts, but the issue persists.
Ensured that there are no custom code changes or CSS that might be overriding the changes.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue as it is crucial for the accurate representation of my website in search results and feeds. If there are any server-level caching or configuration issues that need to be addressed, please let me know the steps to resolve them.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your assistance in resolving the issue.
