Favicon not getting displayed

  I have uploaded a 16 X 16 jpg image as the blog picture/icon. I see it in the wp admin pannel under the general settings but it shows the same wordpress icon on the browser tab when I open my blog. How do I make it appear on the browser tab?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Oh!! Ok, Thanks for confirming that. I had deleted my browser history, cookies and stuff to check and still it did not show up. That’s why I panicked. Thanks for confirming :)
