Favicon not showing in Google search results

    Hello,
    I have added a favicon to my WordPress website https://mukeshoad.com and it shows correctly on the browser tab.
    But in Google search results, the favicon is not showing.

    I have already cleared cache and checked in different browsers. Can you please guide me on why the favicon is not appearing in Google search and how to fix it?

    Hi @mukeshoad,

    I searched your site on Google and can see that the favicon is displaying correctly in the search results on my end, as shown in the screenshot below:

    Sometimes Google takes a bit of time to update favicons in search results, so it may not appear immediately. This delay is normal and usually resolves on its own as Google refreshes its index.

    If you want faster updates, you can use Google Search Console to request a re-crawl of your site.

    Everything on your site is set up correctly, so your favicon should start appearing in search results soon, as this is controlled by Google.
