"Favorites" blog posts arrive long after actual post date.

  The blogs I follow, and have added to my reader list, have posts that show up in my Reader 14 to 24 hours after they are posted. Sometimes they don’t appear at all. I have checked to see if their URL has changed (or something else) and everything is the same/current. Why does it take this long to appear??
