fb, insta store displayed currency problems
-
hi,
I have a webshop with foreign manufacturers for hungarian market and I have set up the store’s base currency to EUR and installed priced based country plugin to display prices in HUF for my target customers (from Hungary), to follow EUR-HUF always changing exchange rates, and this works well.
However, I have synched all of my products with my facebook store to be able to market it on those social media platforms. But, the items there now shown in HUF and also in EUR without any logic. Some items could have been fixed with giving permission to inventory or stock for the item in the webshop, but with others this is not working and it mainly affects simple items and the situation is better with variable items. They are shown in HUF, but not always.
The goal would be to show every item in HUF (exactly how it is in my webshop).
My programmer couldn’t find the way to solve it, please, advise!

Hi Orsi, are you using WooCommerce for Facebook? If you got the plugin on WooCommerce.com, you can go to
https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/ and it will route you to the correct plugin support team.I searched and found something that sounds like the same Facebook currency issue. I am not sure whether the solution is up to date, but it does suggest they’ll be aware of a similar issue at least.
Going forward, these forums are actually for the sites hosted here on our servers, but there is another forum for the free WordPress software itself. You can find that here:
