Please consult Common Reasons Why a Post Failed to Publicize
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#common-reasons-why-a-post-failed-to-publicizePost the snippet and link manually To Facebook to save time first and then proceed as follows.
1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services
Note: RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
Please note that reconnecting Publicize with Facebook and/or with Twitter does not re-publicize missed posts, but it will work for future posts.

Right now, sharing to Facebook isn’t working. Not sure if it’s because of the new changes. It was fine this morning, but appears to be having trouble making the connection between the two sites.

I don’t have my blog directly connected to Facebook, but I do a share to FB from WordPress and the connection is not being made. You get a blank screen. If you try to just post your link directly on Facebook (without sharing), the link isn’t responding either. Clearing cache, etc, seems to have no affect on it.

I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance because I do not know how to help you. Another Volunteer may answer prior to Staff but I tagged the thread so it will not fall through the cracks and escape attention. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

That happened to me last night: it’s because Facebook is experiencing outages. Just close the window, wait a few minutes, and try again.
-
@timethief: Thank you, appreciate that.
@raincoaster: It’s not Facebook. It’s not working at all. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the new changes since none of the social media sharing is working.

I am using Chrome and not having this issue. I just shared something to Twitter and Facebook and it worked just fine.
-
I use Firefox. I just discovered that it’s one post in particular that absolutely refuses to share, very odd. It was the last post I did. I’m not sure why it happened, but never thought to check a different post. Thanks for the head’s up. However, the social media shares (linkedin, twitter, google+) when you create a post were not working, hoping they fixed that by now.

This one? http://dorindaduclos.com/2014/07/05/with-closed-eyes/ It has 23 Twitter shares, so that’s working. I tried sharing it with FB and the pop up box came up just fine.
Try going to a post on someone else’s blog and clicking to share to FB. If that box comes up with the text and thumbnail in it, we’ll have to look at your blog again. If it doesn’t, there’s probably something in your browser that’s interfering, so try doing the Cookie Dance. http://raincoastermedia.com/2012/05/01/the-cookie-dance/

Yes the share buttons work on the bottom. For some reason the picture and post itself does not show when I try to share to FB. FB wouldn’t even acknowledge the short link. My other posts are working fine, though.
What I was referring to was; When you post or schedule a post, I have my blog connected to LinkedIn, Twitter & Google+. None of those links were working this morning on either of the two posts I published. I also noticed my Twitter count did not update. So something is definitely amiss there.

Oh, you mean PUBLICIZE, not SHARE. That is a completely different issue and usually means something’s wrong with your RSS feed.
