FB thumbnail/featured image

  HI – I can’t figure out how to get a featured image to post to Facebook. I can’t figure out where to designate an image for Facebook on my dashboard…..

  I just want the same one from the top of my blog to post each time, not one specific to each post.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi KP,

  That will be tough. By default, the featured image is the selected image to accompany your post to Facebook as described here:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#images-in-publicize

  Facebook then moves to other images within the post or attached to the post in the order of preference mentioned above. The only way to ensure that Facebook selects the image you want each time would be to set that as a featured image for each post.

  For example, right now on your Advice to youth post, Facebook is seeing a blank image:

  That means you won’t see any image next to your Publicized post. One potential thing you might want to try is to set a larger header image. Currently, the height is only 262 px. Setting an image that is larger in height could help. Can you give that a try?
