Feaatured image not Showing

  I am using the Chateau Theme for this website http://mypastforme.com/ I recently changed the Domain from http://www.findmypastforme.com to it’s current domain, however I needed to change the featured image (Company Logo) to match the new Domain name, although after uploading it appears in admin but not when live. I have tried clearing cache’s and cookies and viewing in different browsers. Have also tried uploading both PNG and JPEG and sizes varying from 75 pixels sq to 400 sq but no difference please advise. Thanks

  Hi there,

  I went and took a look at your site and settings, and the image which I see for your blavatar (the icon for your site), seems to be the same one which is showing for the actual site.

  Is there a place where the image hasn’t updated for you?

  Thanks for the rapid response – I actually meant the ‘Featured image’ (Not Blavatar) this should show on the home page under the Facebook pile it’s a company logo

  OK, are you talking about the logo which is showing up on your Facebook widget? If so, that logo is pulled directly from your Facebook’s profile image and would need to be changed there.

  I took a look around your site and didn’t see your company logo appearing anywhere else. Let me know if you were talking about a different image!

  Thanks for having another look. The logo is being pulled through correctly from Facebook and shows at the top of the Facebook file – however there should be an updated logo underneath the Facebook pile – if you edit the page it shows as featured image (bottom right of screen) if there is some way I can send you a screen shot i gladly will.

  Please do! Screenshots can be a huge help in cases like these – can you please take a screenshot and then upload it to your Media Library and then paste the link back here so I can better understand the issue?

  Hi there,

  Thanks for sending those screenshots! I think I figured out what was going on.

  You actually had an additional widget underneath your Facebook widget which was supposed to be displaying an image. It wasn’t for me, but it might have been for you. I went and found the image which you had in your featured image, which you seemed to like, and put it in there for you. It’s now displaying on your home page. Is that what you wanted?

  If not, you can edit it yourself by logging in to your account’s dashboard and then going to Appearance >> Widgets and then clicking on the Image widget on the right hand side of the screen. You can put in a link to any of the images in your Media Library there and click Save!
