Feature content. How to make my 3 tags appear?

    I’m having trouble in making my 3 tags appear in my feature content. I tagged and put a feature image to 3 post but when I go to the customized bar and to feature contents I can only write down one tag. I tried to separate with a comma but it’s not working. What I’m I doing wrong?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there!

    I tagged and put a feature image to 3 post but when I go to the customized bar and to feature contents I can only write down one tag. I tried to separate with a comma but it’s not working.

    Learning new software is always fun, let’s see if we can’t get this sorted out!

    First, i notice you are using the Twenty Seventeen theme. Excellent choice, and you can learn much about getting the most from that theme at its page:
    https://wordpress.com/theme/twentyseventeen

    It sounds like you are trying to assign multiple tags to a single Menu entry.
    That can be an exercise in futility, since menu items can have only one tag assigned to them.

    Knowing more about Custom Menus will help you with this. You can learn all about using Custom Menus in:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

    Tags are very powerful, but perhaps categories would serve you better in this case, the following will help you decide which will work better for you:
    http://support.wordpress.com/posts/categories-vs-tags/

    If you decide that you want to go with Categories rather than Tags, there is a way to convert Tags into Categories. Read through:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/tags/

    This will tell you all about Tags. Just about at the bottom under “Converting Tags to Categories” it tells you how to convert Tags to Categories if you choose to!

    Hope this helps!
    dave

    @materialecentralen,

    As @dave2swords indicated, the site https://materialecentralen.wordpress.com/ has the Twenty Seventeen theme applied. Twenty Seventeen doesn’t have a “featured content” section or slider as some themes do. Therefore, it is not possible to add a featured content tag at Customize with this theme.

    Are you referring to a different website? Or have you switched from another theme since posting this support request?

    Please let me know if you discover anything. After 4 years, my posts are not showing up in the Tag on Reader page either and it is really costing me visits! I’ve put in 2 requests for help and have not heard anything from Support.

    @gpcox,

    The issue you describe is completely unrelated to the issue of the present topic. You may add a “modlook” tag to the sidebar of either of your previous topics to call for staff attention, and then wait for staff to respond there.

    HI materialecentralen,

    It looks like you were previously using Ixion before switching to TwentySeventeen.

    If you decide to go back to Ixion, you’ll need to apply the same tag to all three posts (or pages) as you’ve indicated in the Customize > Featured Content area.

    Instead of using three separate tags, you’ll choose one, and apply the same tag to multiple posts/pages.

    If you still need help with this, feel free to reply to this thread.
