Feature Image complications

    Hello, I am relatively new to wordpress and purchased the Fresh News Theme. This theme includes a slider that shows feature images at the top of the main page. However, the feature image automatically shows in post excerpts right under the slider. This means I have two of the same image right on top of one another and it looks pretty dumb. Can anyone tell me how to disable showing the feature image in post excerpts so it only shows on the slider?

    Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate.
