Feature image not appearing

Hello – I’m having problems with features images
They appear:
1. In drafts
2. On the menu list of all posts/drafts
3. On the website home page and shares
4. In archivesThey’re not showing up on:
1. Individual post (article) pages
2. On the draft previewI’m getting the same results via mobile and computer. I’ve gone through all my setting etc. I’ve tried different size photos but the problem is occuring with new drafts and older posts which were fine before. It’s definetly an issue here. Please could you help me. I’m clueless and miss my blog posts the way they were :)

Confit, which is the theme you’re using on voiceofsalam.wordpress.com – does not display featured images on single posts. The featured image will generally be used as a thumbnail when a post is shared in social media, like Facebook.

I’m new to wordpress, so forgive me if this isn’t the correct way to use the forums. I also cannot see my feature images that are in my menu tabs. When I edit the menu tabs, I see my featured image, but even after updated, the featured images do not show up when I click on menu items.

Not all themes display featured images on the front end (public side) of the site, and those that do often require feature images to meet a minimum size.
Could please start a new thread in the Themes sub-forum and add a link to your site? It’ll be easier to help you there. Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the replY. It used to. Since starting my 2nd newest draft/post after changing themes to.confit this problem started. The last blog post I made directly with this theme showed it in every way – draft, draft preview, single page etc. According to the word press guide this theme supports individual feature images for the site.

Themes display featured images in different ways, and it’s definitely possible your older theme displayed them in ways that Confit does not.
Confit displays the featured image on the blog index, but not on single posts.
I previewed your latest posts and do not see the featured image on the single post preview, which is as expected.

But I swear confit did. I made a new post on the weekend and it did. I discovered it didn’t only yesterday. I know it sounds silly but it did. It showed on drafts preview and single post.

Well, I’m not sure how it could have. :) I double-checked the code that outputs the single post display twice and the reference to the post thumbnail (what WordPress calls the featured image in technical terms) is just not there in the code:

Is it possible you’re remembering Edin, which is the theme you used before Confit? It does display featured images on single posts:

I’m sure it did :-( because i was so surprised and annoyed lol when previewing my newest draft (the 2nd on confit) there was nothing
