Feature image not showing on page
-
I want a different featured image on each of my pages. I can see the images in my media library, I set one as a featured image and it appears on my editing page, I update the page, then view it and it still shows the same image as my Home page. Why do some pages allow me to change the featured image and others don’t?

Only a few themes provide the ability to have featured images. There are also theme dependent variations on where they will display and the required dimensions are critical to display.
Twenty Ten has a featured image header. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/
Twenty TenAn image that is at least 940 x 198 pixels will be used as the header image for the post/page you set a featured image on. See here for the guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/#setting-a-featured-image

Thank you thistimethisspace. I am using the Twenty Ten theme. I have six static pages and I would like each page to have a different image. I was successful in changing the images on two other pages besides the home page, but that was it. How do I change the featured image on each page? I set a new featured image in the Edit Page box and the image shows in the metabox but not when I view the page, even though I updated my change.

Are the images the correct dimensions and allowed file types?
Will you also post the URLs for the Pages the images are not displaying on and the URLs for the images in question? -
Unfortunately, due to a time crunch, I abandoned the theme I was using, which was twenty ten, and switched to Motif instead. Turns out I liked that one better anyway. Maybe it was because I was finally successful in putting a different featured image on each page. Thank you thistimethisspace, in any event, for offering your assistance.
