  As I do not see a specific size stated for featured images in Mixfolio I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up.   Hi singhasmita,

  The featured images in on the front page of the Mixfolio demo are all about 800×500, but they display on the front page grid at a size of 297×198. As long as they are at least 297×198, they will fill the grid.

  The reason some of your images do not fill the full grid is because they are .png images with transparent backgrounds to the left and right. As long as the images have a solid color background, you will see them fill the available space in the grid.
