Feature image size

    Recently my featured image in subscriber emails is displayed in a very large size rather than a thumbnail.
    Some background… I have been having the problem of ‘no featured image being displayed in subscriber emails’ for well over a year and have been using the following workaround…
    1) manual inputting an Excerpt into my blog postings
    2) adding a small (325×250) html image into the excerpt.
    This has been working for recipient viewing on a PC (proper image size displayed) but not displaying an image for recipients viewing the blog post from a mobile device.
    As stated, now the image seen from PC’s is the very large size rather than the 325×250 size.
