Feature photo not being used & find wordpress.com update version
-
I’ve been trying to solve this for hours by support forums etc., and it is all just mind-blowingly confusing. When I go to share my post it chooses some photo that is not my feature photo and isn’t even in the gallery anymore. I thought maybe I needed to update (not upgrade) my version but I can’t find anything on how to tell what version I am using. Why does all this have to take a computer programmer to figure it out. I thought that was the point of WordPress.com??? Just really frustrated right now at the user-unfriendliness of wordpress and the lack of simple answers to simple questions.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Danielle,
Are you trying to share a post on Facebook? If so, it’s Facebook’s cache and it hasn’t cleared. Let me know which post and I can use Facebook’s Object Debugger to clear it.
Cheers!

Yes – it was a post I was trying to share on facebook. http://broknframe.com/photographer-s-t-horton/across-the-path/ – that might be the link to the post if I did it right. Sorry I didn’t get back with you sooner. I applied the help. Will facebook posts keep doing this or will what you are going to do fix it for future shares also? Danielle

So I fetched the new scrape information using Facebook’s Object Debugger and now this is what you should see when you share the post:
Please note that this will not fix your share retroactively. You will have to re-share the post.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!
