feature posting or annotations
-
I am a newbie and have clumsily imported my new blog into wordpress from blogger. Can someone recommend a way or template that will allow me to feature comments or annotations to my posts from my partner? I will be posting about heart healthy cooking and she will add in nutritional and medical advice. I want her contribution offset on the main frame or enable her to annotate on my posts in a noticeable, professional way.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you make your partner an editor of your blog they can annotate and modify your posts. To distinguish between original and modified content you can change the text appearance in the visual editor or with the help of HTML. Here’s some good advice on formatting text.

Thank you halluke, very helpful. Can I ask an offshoot of that… I wondered if she could blog separately in say a widget along side my posts – like a running column or in a block of sorts. I’ve searched through different templates and editors, but don’t know if there is a name for that option or if it even exists. Thx Sherri

If you let her write posts on your blog, her posts will come up interspersed with yours. You can put the Author widget in the sidebar and then if someone clicks on her name only her posts will come up.
If she writes a blog somewhere else entirely, you can put the RSS feed of that blog in an RSS widget in the sidebar, so if people click on it, they go to her blog. It’s dynamic, unlike regular widgets here.
There aren’t any blogs that work just the way you’re looking for here. We have ONE content column, except on certain themes and then the contents for each column are just the main blog posts, pushed over one by one as the new posts are added.
