Feature posts and pages

  Hi – I’m a newbie to all this and this is a brand new site. I’d like to feature 2-3 pages and posts (and not necessarily the most recent posts) in the side bar; and call them ‘Notices’. What would be the best widget/tool to do this? thanks for your help!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Pages and posts are not the same. https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  You can enter the links to both Pages and Posts into a text widget https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/ and display it in your sidebar.

  Hi and thanks, I tried using a text widget but doesn’t seem to have much flexibility – I can’t seem to make the link active. Any more advice?
