  This is a generic feature request.

  Everyone is asking for it… it’s all over the forums. I understand the difference between WP.com and WP.org. I understand the need to handle security. I understand that it is a free tool and free hosting… some of us do upgrade and spend money (like me). I get all of that.

  BUT… if I can embed Youtube videos and the platform is smart enough to replace the iframe for Youtube with special code… then why can’t WP publish a widget for Google Analytics?

  I also get that Blogger and WP are competitors… but c’mon!

  I’d pay $10 / yr for this widget! Google Analytics is VERY superior to the WP stats functionality.

  C’mon WP… you can do it!
