Feature request: Export menus

  Currently the Export function does not export menus, only content. I believe that many site owners would like to be able to export their menus, too. I have a backup of a WordPress site on a machine at home, and I would like to keep the menus identical, and currently I have to it manually.

  Is there a reason why a function cannot be added to export the menus on a site?

  Customization exporting is on the roadmap for WordPress in general, but there’s currently no estimate as to when that will be done.
