FEATURE REQUEST: Put shortlink on the All Posts page!

  I’m constantly clicking to get a shortlink to paste into a tweet, email, or FB post. It would save me so many clicks and page loads if the wp.me shortlink was viewable on the All Posts page. Can you please add the shortlinks to the All Posts page? It might even be good to have a Dashboard widget that contained the last 10 posts with shortlink, too.

  Hi there,

  I can certainly submit that as a suggestion, but just to make sure, are you aware that you can get the shortlink on the compose window as soon as you’ve set your post’s title? Once you’ve reached that point, you could be ready to go with your tweet/email/FB post!

  Yes, I’m aware. That’s one of the two ways I retrieve the link now. However, I often tweet/post/email archived blog posts. This means that I have to go to the compose page or the actual post page to each time I do this, which is often. Putting the short link on the All Posts page saves me 1 click/page load each time. Putting the last ~10 posts with shortlink on my dashboard would save me two clicks each time.

  That’s not a problem! I’ve gone ahead and submitted the request. Our developers go through regularly and review any new requests which come in and put them on a roadmap. Hopefully they’ll be able to add yours in soon!
