Feature request to add ability to share to Mastodon and ability to federate blog
-
I know there have been a number of other posts on this subject, but all of them seem to be closed to new replies. Like so many others, I would love to submit a feature request to be able to have Mastodon added to Publicize so that posts can be auto-shared to a Mastodon account. In addition, I think it would be great if WordPress.com would support ActivityPub, so that people in the Fediverse could subscribe to our blogs directly. I know there’s a plugin for this on wp.org, but this plugin, if it’s an option at all, would only be available to the top Wp.com tier.
If there’s another way to submit a feature request, please let me know. I tried reaching out to support, but they referred me to the forums. I found a feature request section, but that too was not accepting any new posts.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
This is something we’re monitoring feedback for.
Currently, Social Icons block https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/blocks/social-icons-block/ supports Mastodon and also Navigation block.
It’s currently a Gravatar verified service also.
We appreciate the suggestion!

You don’t need to share to a Mastodon account, your blog itself can publish and be followed, starting today:
The auto-share to another Mastodon account feature also exists: https://wordpress.com/support/post-automatically-to-social-media/#mastodon
