Featured Blog question

  I am curious about the Featured Blog feature. How does a blog end up there?

  Is it a random generated list of blogs? I did not even know it existed, but followed links that ended up in my blog and saw it listed.

  do they do that often with new blogs to get traffic going?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you talking about on the global tags pages? No one knows exactly how the featured blogs are chosen for the tags pages, and staff will not say since then people would try and “game” the system to keep their posts as featured posts.

  In most cases, it seems to correspond with the blog that uses that tag or category the most.
