  How do i make sure that my image in featured is cropped to the size of the image slider in featured content and not cut off?

  Hi, I assume you are talking about the images on your main page, such as the dropbox image. If so, you will have to create images for use as featured images that are close to square with the same horizontal and vertical dimensions. It looks like the software is creating images at 730px wide x 836px high off of your originals. If you size your images so that they are basically square, it should work out though rather than trying to exactly match those dimensions. The images can also be larger, but for quality reasons, I would suggest something not to exceed about 1200px square.
