Featured content background color

  Whenever I change my page background color to black, the right white space turns black (which I want) but then the background under the featured content section turns white. How can I get this to turn black?’

  If you have the upgrade that allows you to edit your css, change these 2 entries in your style.css and that will make your featured content section black:

  .featured-content,
  	.featured-content .entry-header,
  	.slider-direction-nav a {
  		background-color: #000;
  	}
  
  	.grid .featured-content .entry-header {
  		border-color: #000;
  	}

  Thanks, that worked! I just need to make the text of the featured content section white instead of a light gray.
