Featured content excerpts

    Hi, I’m using the Gateway theme and I’d like my homepage to display 3 pages as featured content. I can set that up no problem, but the excerpts of the second and third pages are sample text saying “This is just a short excerpt for the contact page.… More”. The first sample page shows a short excerpt of the page text, stopping where I’ve inserted a “read more” tag. Can you tell me how to make the second and third featured content blocks appear as the first one does?

    Hi there!

    The excerpt you’re referring to have been added as a custom excerpt to the contact page. You can access it by first navigating to the editor for the contact page. You’ll then find the “Excerpts” box under the “More Options” tab on the left.

    You can either remove the existing custom excerpt or replace it with one of your own choosing.
