Featured Content – Ixion Theme

Having issues with all the “Featured Content” images being the same size, or having blank spots in them. Is there a recommended size for featured images so that all the featured content images on the front page are the same size?

The key is to use Featured Images that have the same aspect ratio.
Right now, you have a square image on your post about Facebook, and a rectangular image on the Don’t forget why you’re doing this post.
When the theme scales them down to the same width, they are different heights (the square is taller than the rectangle).
On aspect ratio is the ratio of an image’s width to it’s height. If an image is a square (let’s say it’s 400 by 400. The ratio would be 400:400, which can be reduced down to 1:1.
If it were a rectangle, like your other image, it might be 400 by 200. That ratio would be 400:200, which can be reduced down to 2:1
You want to use images that have the same ratio. That way when the theme scales them to fit in the Featured Content, the heights will match up!
