Featured Content Slider on Homepage instead of Blog? (Dyad 2 theme)
-
Hello there,
I think I may have goofed something up here. I would like my “featured” content slider to appear and function on my homepage, as opposed to my Blog page (I am fine with it being on both, but I definitely need it on the homepage)You can see on the homepage that the featured slider appears, but it does not allow the user to click through, nor is the text formatted correctly.
I am almost certain that it used to function properly, so I am worried I goofed a bit with the custom CSS function.
Can anyone help? I would surely appreciate it. I searched the forum but came up short.
Thank you in advance!
Matt

Every theme has a detailed theme description page https://wordpress.com/theme/dyad-2 and that’s where set up instructions for it, the features of it, and the live demo site link is found. Have you consulted those instructions and specifically what’s found under the Featured Content Slider title?

If you have altered the CSS please use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform to post a new thread into the CSS Customization Forum where Staff address all the threads and assist members with advanced customization.

Doh!
Thank you for the prompt response, timethief. It does indeed specify that in order for the slider to appear on the homepage, one must display their latest post on the homepage.
I’ll find an alternative way to make this work!
Thanks again.
