Featured headers on Misty Lake theme
-
I’m trying to use the Misty Lake theme and I want each page to have a different header image. The theme seems to have that option since it has the ability to add a featured image on each page. But when I add the image, either through uploading or through choosing something already in my media library, the image does not show. It still shows the default image of the main page. And I’ve verified the image is within the maximum dimensions for the theme. Any advice?

I tried all the steps in the first link and it still didn’t work. And I didn’t see the Misty Lake theme in the second link — although when I click on the details of the theme, it specifically states that it supports featured images. Perhaps that information is wrong? Would the option show up if the theme did not support it?

I just tried this in my test blog and it did not work. I’ll tag this thread for a Themes Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi there,
The Misty Lake theme does support Featured Images, but those images aren’t used as header images. Misty Lake always uses the default header or your Custom Header Image as the header image.
I see you’ve switched to the Twenty Ten theme — that’s an example of a theme where you can upload a featured image to create a different header image on different posts and pages.
