Featured homepage image – size?

  Hi, I’m trying to add a featured image on the homepage, where the text box sits in the middle of the image, just like on the demo. However, whenever I add an image (no matter the size), it only fills half the space. Help! Thanks.

  I should have said – it’s the Sela theme.
