  I just can’t get a featured image to publish. I’ve done everything that’s needed and the featured image shows on the editing page but when I publish, it reverts to the header.

  I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you mean. The address is correct: http://www.peheathcote.wordpress.com.
  I have just started this site and am trying to set its format before I put any content in it. I think I’m following the correct procedure because I have trialled what I’m doing on another computer with a different blog and there was no problem. Thanks for your help.

  The only featured images in that theme are featured header images.
