Featured image.

    Recently my blog changed editors. I don’t remember changing this?!
    I used to be able to hotlink an image from flikr, then put the ‘more’ separator under it and the first image in the post would be used as a featured image. Since the change, I am forced to upload an image to my wordpress storage, before setting it as a featured image. Is there anyway that I can hotlink an image as my articles featured image, without having to upload it to my storage?

    Hi There,
    The new interface that you are seeing now requires you to upload an image into your WordPress storage to use as a featured image.
