featured Image
-
I am using the ‘free’ version of WordPress for my blog. Does anybody know why or how to get the featured image to show up on the main page of all my blog posts? It appears everywhere else (in the post, at wordpress.com, etc.) but just shows up as a random image or blank squares at elevateyourpassion.wordpress.com.
If I go to theme/ customize/ theme options and uncheck ‘If featured image isn’t set, display colored block on blog page’ it grabs a random image in my media center but NOT the featured image. If I uncheck that box it removes all pictures and simple makes colored squares. I want my featured image to appear as the picture everywhere.
Thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot compel any theme to present your content in any way it is not designed to do.
Every theme has a detailed theme description page and this one is at https://wordpress.com/themes/cubic/ That’s where set up instructions for it are found. The live demo site is at https://cubicdemo.wordpress.com/

If featured image isn’t set, display colored block on blog page
If your post doesn’t have a featured image but does include images, Cubic will display the first image attached to the post. If you prefer only featured images to be displayed, check the box. http://elevateyourpassion.wordpress.com/
