Hi, can we set embedded image from Getty as featured image in Apostrophe 2 Theme? If so, can you guide me how to do that?

Hi –
Yes, you can use Getty images for a featured image. You’ll need to add those images in to the site’s media library.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
Then, open up the posts that you want to add the images to. Click on My Sites – Site – Posts – Post Title – Edit
On the right hand side of the screen you’ll find the featured image option in the post settings.
Please write back to me here if you need more help. Additionally, the Apostrophe 2 theme instructions are available on https://wordpress.com/theme/apostrophe-2

Hi Lizkarkoski, thanks for the response and I apologise for my late reply. I understood what you said here and I’ve been doing that for a while now. But my doubt is that,
1.) How to DOWNLOAD images from Getty Images to add it to media library? You can’t download any unless you pay for it,right?
2.) I’ve been embedding the images from Getty to add them in between my articles but I want to know if there’s a way to embed a image as Feature image? -
To use Getty Images, please follow this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/images/getty-images/
There currently isn’t a way to download them without paying for them, so you wouldn’t be able to use them as featured images, but there are other free image services that may allow this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/finding-free-images-and-other-media/
