Hello thanks for replying
i opened 2 sites, one blog and one normal one, i wanted to see the differance between the 2,
the one that i was having issues with was
https://learntradingwithforex.wordpress.com/there is only 1 or 2 pages so far iv only just started learning to become familiar with the block editor
I attempted to use the featured image option and added a stock image but no reaction from the page, so i’m not too sure
thanks

Yes I put that there using a cover block yesterday, I’m talking about the featured imaged section on the right side setting Column, when I select an image it does not go on the the page even before I had this other image that is there now, I had to figure another way to get a image at the top of the page instead if using the featureed image setting
But I want to use the featured image setting it’s a lot easier but may be it does not work on this free theme I’m not sure if you toggle it you will see what I mean test the featured image section with a stock image or something you will see it does not do any thing on the page when you select an image
Kind regards

Hi Benjamin,
some themes will not display the featured image on top of the page – they will only be used to illustrate your posts on the blog page. So, let’s say you set your homepage to display your recent posts. You’ll see the featured image on every post on the homepage but, if you click on a post to open it up, the featured image won’t be there. There are some themes that will display the featured image on every post or page, it’s just a matter of finding one you like. You can try the themes without activating them by clicking on the three dots next to the theme’s name and choosing the option Try&Customize.
This will allow you to see how the theme would look like with your content and how could you customize it: https://cld.wthms.co/kvbN8Pl
I hope that helps :)
