featured image

  I have posted a picture and set it as a featured image, however, on my post page, only the title is appearing. I would like to picture to be visible in the feed. What am I doing wrong? The post name is “Boring!”

  Hi there,

  You need to set the featured image on the Edit Post page:
  https://liazoncorp.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1498&action=edit&message=1

  You’ll see that I have done this (you can see it if you scroll down – it’ll be on the right side).

  Now when you publish, you’ll see the image twice on the post. You can safely delete the image in the content area in the Edit Post page, and the featured image will still show up.

  Hi there,

  I did a little further digging, and this appears to be a theme feature. From the Theme page:
  http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/structure/

  Please note: If the width of the Featured Image selected is less than 620 pixels, it will not appear in the Featured Posts area.

  So it would seem you need to have a larger image to trigger the Featured Image option. Sorry I wasn’t more help initially!
