I am trying to display a featured image in my post, ‘The Watch Divides: An Introduction’ but the image appears to be massive on the post page no matter whats its dimensions are. I reduced its size to 300×289 but when i load the page the image is still absolutely huge and I cant figure out how to reduce the size of the featured image on the page

  • Hi there,

By default the Quadrat theme you’re using displays featured images the full-width of the screen, but you can use the site editor to change that.

Go to Appearance ->Editor. Click the template name at the top (1) and click Browse All Templates (2). Select the Single Post template.

On the template you’ll see a placeholder block for the featured image(3). Click on that, and change the alignment(4) from Full Width to Centered. Then save.

If you view your post now the featured image should be the same width as the text column.

If you want it even smaller than that, that would require custom CSS code at the moment, and that’s only available in our Pro plan. You can also just make this change globally for your site at this time, not per post.
