Featured Image

I tried changing the very first picture on my blog and when I did I must have did something wrong because now all of my pictures have changed to that one specific pic. When I go into each individual page it still shows my old featured image but it’s not the one that shows on my actual page. PLEASE help I changed all my pics today! I even tried reuploading them but it’s still reverting back to that one pic. I’ve tried everything!

I have noticed that we now have a forum thread from 3 other member about featured images disappearing from Inuit Types and from Structure. I’m thinking Staff may be working on theme templates and they may in fact be causing this. @mommasmeals I just took a look at two posts and a page on your site. None had a featured image set which would explain the custom header image loading instead. I looked at About Me, Apple Chocolate Chip Brownies, and Huge Progress!!.
None of those had anything set for the featured image. Can you try setting an image for those? If it doesn’t load in the header area please do let us know after you’ve set an image there.

Featured images are on the following pages: Appetizers, Amazing Sides, Soups and Salads, About me, My Services, Main Dishes, Weekly Favs, My Blog…My Life, My Recipe box, Crock It, it seems to be my pages. I did just add a featured imagge to “Huge Progress” Still not showing. I also noticed that under “Desserts and Baked Goodies” my feature image did post……can you still help. I heard someone else that had the chateau theme was having the same problem.

As timethief observed, this is related to the recent similar glitch in Structure and Inuit Types. But your images would still show up if they we were pre-sized to the exact dimensions required for the theme you’re using (Chateau: 960×260 pixels), as we volunteers have always been advising.

I apologize I was able to fix most of them once I resized them all, I’m new at this and I assumed I had the right size prior. However I’ve now resized “Crock It” and “Soups & Sandwiches” A few times to match the requirements but they still aren’t showing, are they still having a glitch do you know? Thank you very much for your help I really appreciate it!

@andrewspittle I’ve used the Structure Theme for over a year now, and I’ve always been very careful about uploading images at their correct size (620 x 380 px for the featured images). Just in case, I’ve checked twice and in fact they are all correct. I can see some of the people here are resizing their images and solving the problem, but I can’t do that, since the images have always been in the correct size. What can I do? When can I expect them to appear again? This is the website: http://sadabombon.com
I also checked ramdom posts throughout the whole site and none of the posts are showing the featured images.
All other images (header, secondary-column images, home page images, etc.) do appear. This problem is only happening in the single post page, like here, where an image should show up at the top: http://sadabombon.com/2011/10/03/ficm/ (it does show up in the home page, though).

This is not my blog or a personal page. It’s my job, with thousands of visitors per week, so a lot depends on it. That’s why I’m very concerned about this problem not being resolved.
