  featured image won’t display on my page. I’m trying to get the image “people” to be the featured image on my “Beachy Corks” page. I have had this problem before and thought it had to do with the image being created in a different operating system than my home computer. Obviously that wasn’t the problem.

  Howdy!

  This is because the featured image you’ve chosen is too small. From the Theme Showcase page for Twenty Eleven:

  To have a big featured image you need to use an image that is at least as big as the header image (1000px x 288px)

  The featured image you’ve selected is 908 x 260. Adding a larger featured image should fix the problem.
