  I don’t have a featured image module in my screen options or on my screen. My facebook posts keep sharing the same image from my sidebar instead of the main image in my current post. This started recently. Help!

  Hi,

  I ran your latest post through Facebook’s debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object?q=http%3A%2F%2Fstampendousblog.wordpress.com%2F2013%2F09%2F25%2Fleaf-kiddos-are-leafing-summer-behind%2F

  which revealed the correct images, so this may be a Facebook issue of grabbing the wrong image initially, but refreshing to the correct one when debugged.

  Featured Images is a feature that arrived after your theme was built, so you’re correctly not seeing the option for it. In either event, Facebook should be pulling the images from the content itself and not the sidebar.

  If you see a post with this problem, my best advice is check the Facebook Debugger. If it pulls the incorrect image after running it through there, then it is something more in-depth. If it corrects itself, then it may be an issue with Facebook.

  I’ll ask our team to investigate further to determine if there is something we can do on our end to mitigate this behavior.
