  Hi there,

  Looking for some help please!

  I’m using the Chunk theme which doesn’t seem to allow for ‘featured images’. I’d really like to add this feature (ideally for free) but don’t know if it can be done. I haven’t purchased the ‘custom design add-on’.

  That’s not possible. If you want a theme that has featured images then you must choose one that’s designed to have them such a these ones > http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/featured-images/ If you want to know the size consult the relevant theme description and if you want to know how to set featured images use the relevant support doc http://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
