Featured image

  About featured images. Although I can load images and screen shots in the library and I can import them as featured images, they are not always displayed in the site page. That happens especially if the definition of the image is relatively low. Can that be corrected ?

  Your themes has featured header images and the support doc is at https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/ Please read the Quick Specs: on your detailed themes support page carefully:

  Featured images need to be at least 960 x 260 pixels to be displayed. Smaller sizes, while uploading, will not display on the front-end. https://wordpress.com/themes/chateau/

  Thank you for that accurate answer. Why is it so ? It is a pity that screen shots, for instance, cannot be featured images.
