Featured Image/all images in 5.0.1

  Hello – I’m looking for assistance in the new WP update with images.

  1) I can’t get the Featured Image to set center – or at least not be set within the actual post of a blog/article. Any thoughts?

  2) Images now set within the “blocks”: are they now not customizable as they were before? I’d like the ability to enlarge or shrink to suit my needs.

  Hello!

  1) The way the Featured Image displays will depend entirely on your theme.

  2) If you’d like to edit image dimensions in the new editor, select the image, then press the little Settings button in the top right corner – it looks like a gear. In that menu, under Image Settings, you should see a section called Image Dimensions. You can either manually input size, or use one of the preset percentages.

  It does, thank you! I’m a newb to most of this stuff, even though I’ve been using WP for some time – I’ve never gone this in-depth. I’m going to be redoing the theme soon anyway, so… great help. Thanks!
