Featured Image and Getty

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hey,
I was wondering if there is any possible way of setting a Getty image as a featured image?
I have a .com website and using the hestia child theme and I have embedded multiple Getty images in my blog posts.
So can I somehow do it or can I just copy a Getty image because I have embedded multiple Getty images in the past.
    Thanks

    Hi markglynnroe,

theslidingtackle.com is a self hosted WordPress.org site rather than a WordPress.com site. There is some information about the differences between the two in this guide:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

These forums are where we provide support for WordPress.com sites hosted on our own servers. However, help for WordPress.org sites is available here:

Featured images are pulled in from your Media Library but you may be able to change this behaviour. There are a couple of Getty plugins on the WordPress.org plugin repository, so you could explore those first:

If these plugins aren’t quite right, I’d recommend posting to the forums I linked to above for more advice.

    Best of luck!
