Featured image and text not showing on front page

  Featured image and text not appearing on front page

  I have set static front page, image size is 1200 x 800. Featured image is ticked in screen options but I cannot find why it is not appearing. Please help

  You’ve currently set your ‘Home’ page to the Front Page Template. Zuki’s Front Page Template gets built out primarily by using Widgets. If you want a front page like the theme demo, I recommend following the instructions under ‘Build Your Own Front Page’ here:

  Note, that to make the featured image slider work, you’ll also need to create several posts with featured images.

  However, if you want your ‘Home’ page to be just the text you’ve added to the body and your featured image, edit the page. Change ‘front page template’ to ‘default template’. Then, in addition to being your featured image, add that image to your page’s body. The Zuki theme doesn’t add Featured Images to pages automatically, only posts.
