featured image appear in the post

  Hi, when i uplaod a featured image to my post this same image also shows up at the very beginning of the post. I just want the featured image to show when im on the ‘latest posts’ page but not at the beginning of my post when i open it.
  is there a solution?
  i am using the theme Kale
