Featured Image Changes Aspect Ratio

I have chosen images that are natively 2000×1500, per the suggestion on the theme page. However, the aspect ratio of the featured image changes between the front page (where the whole image is viewable) and an actual post (where the image is cut off). This does not seem to happen on the demo page on the Cubic site, so I can’t quite figure out what is different with what I am doing.

The site in question is: https://oneticketpleaseblog.wordpress.com/

    Thanks!

On Cubic on the single post pages, the images have to be cropped and scaled to fit the available space, and the theme software actually scales and crops the image on the fly for the size of the screen/window it is being viewed on. If you set your browser window full screen and then shorten and narrow it down to a small size, you will see that the image gets cropped. The positioning and cropping is done from the image center, so it is best to keep the most important bits of the image near the center. Given the way the theme is designed to where the image covers the entire window/screen, and the size of a browser/screen cannot be controlled, it would be impossible to keep all the image showing for all screen sizes.
